As a vocal geek with respect for herself, Kaya is an associate member of PAVA are a membership driven 501(c)(6) non-profit association made up of voice professionals from all voice related vocations including SLPs, ENTs, Professional Singers, Voice Teachers, Voice for the Actor Coaches, music directors, stage directors, and others who work with human and animal vocalization

The mission of the Pan American Vocology Association is to advance the scientific and interdisciplinary study of vocalization across species. PAVA fosters vocology in all countries of the Western Hemisphere through research, training, and dissemination of knowledge. PAVA promotes the creation and development of professional standards and credentials in voice habilitation and supports the currently established credentials in voice rehabilitation.
